Summer Sampler

The sun's out and the wind has died down so it's becoming harder and harder to sit at this computer. Hooray for sunshine! This past weekend we got wet 'n wild: I found a spinkler at a yard sale which the boys enjoyed and then I gave the boys their summer buzz. I really didn't want to give Keegan one but it's much more manageable now and out of his eyes. *Sniff.* I miss his white fuzz.

Not that he cares... Also, at said yard sale, I found some Mega Blocks for his birthday. I set them in the kitchen when I got home and went to get a few more things from the car and this is what I came back to:

Yeah, big surprise there. I can't keep this kid out of anything anymore! So I'll need to stick a bow on it for his birthday and PRETEND like he's never seen it. At least I know he likes it. We also snuck away for Memorial Day weekend at the Bingham's! Good food, lots of laughs, and Dean getting put in as bishop! What a weekend. We were all very tired by the end of it. Keegan was sacked out before we hit the freeway going home. Keegan got to play with more sprinklers, a motorized John Deere tractor, and a peddle car... he's fond of the peddle car when Aunt Ali pushes it and he can ride around waving to the pretty ladies. We discovered that he's fond of bubbles, too.

My personal quest this summer is to have a great garden and lovely flowers. Can't complain as yet. I've eaten a lot of radishes, the lettuce would feed a covy of bunnies, and my roses were the first show-stoppers on the block (way to be, guys!). I keep busy mowing, walking with friends, and reading summer books. Cody recently passed the torch of bookkeeping to me so I have had to spend some nights journaling all the entries, but I'm almost through to the end of May. Little pleasures, right?
